Athletes For Causes Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. All funding is provided through direct contributions from philanthropic professional athletes, individuals, corporate contributions and special fund-raising events. Athletes 4 Causes realizes that giving back to our communities is vital. It is imperative for the success of future generations Athletes 4 Causes manages charitable activities nationwide.
It is important that our NFL athletes realize the tremendous impact they can make off the field. We work with each individual athlete to determine what is important to them through our Athletes 4 Causes Non-profit Foundation.

Is hosting an exciting & fun night of celebrity bowling at Pinstripes in Northbrook. Net proceeds of this event will benefit Special Kids Network with other beneficiaries being Keshet and the Best Futures Cafe. The night will commence with a meet and greet with Roberto and several of his Chicago Bears teammates followed by a star-studded bowling event and silent auction.
The 2012 Gabe Carimi Stars & Strikes event featured Gabe Carimi, Brian Urlacher, Lance Briggs, Roberto Garza, Lance Louis, Chris Williams, J’Marcus Webb, Chicago Blackhawks Dan Carcillo, Brian Noonan, Former Sox player Mike Huff, WFLD’s Lou Canellis, Dionne Miller & Anna Davlante.
For many years, Special Kids Network has supported Keshet’s Teen Camp which gives campers ages 11 – 21 the opportunity to participate in overnight programs that highlight vocational training with an emphasis on increasing levels of autonomy for these young adults.
Founded in 1982, Keshet provides educational, recreational, and vocational programs for children with special needs. Keshet’s impact beyond the schools and summer programs includes its national prominence as a premier training center serving thousands of teachers, students and parents in the treatment of autism through structured learning techniques.
Best Futures Café is a concession stand providing job opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/ID) is now open at the Centennial Ice Arena in Highland Park, IL. Founded by a group of suburban parents in June 2011, Best Futures, Inc. is focused on creating opportunities for sustainable competitive employment in the community for individuals with I/DD.
